How do I reset my password?

On the login screen, tap Forgot password? and enter your email address. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive.

How do I delete my account and data?

Go to Me → Delete Account in the app. This immediately and permanently removes your account and all associated data from our servers — this cannot be undone. Alternatively, email support@sobella.app and we'll handle it for you.

Is my journal and chat data private?

Yes. Your check-in conversations are encrypted on your device before they're ever sent to our servers, so only you can read them. Journal entries are stored securely on our servers with strict access controls so only you can access your account's data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

I forgot my sober start date — can I change it?

Yes. Go to Me → Edit Profile and update your start date. Your sober day count and calendar will update automatically.

The AI companion isn't responding. What should I do?

Check your internet connection first. If the problem persists, close and reopen the app. If it continues, email us at support@sobella.app and we'll look into it.

Can I use Sobella without an account?

No, an account is required to use Sobella — this keeps your data synced securely across sessions and devices. Registration only requires an email address and takes under a minute.

Is Sobella a medical or clinical service?

No. Sobella is a personal wellness companion and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, therapy, or addiction treatment. If you are struggling, please reach out to a qualified professional or a crisis line.
